1 min readAn old man giving the name of Herman Hobjorfa was placed in the City hospital last night, suffering from general debility from old age, and during the night he died from heart disease. He was a stranger, aged about 75 years.
The attending physicians, Drs. Menger and Clavin, discovered soon after patient's admission, that he was afflicted with the somewhat rare disease, known as ichthyosis, or "fish skin." He said he had been thus afflicted since his birth. It is stated that he had a scaly formation over his entire body, the scales greatly resembling the general appearance of the leather carp, and many were of large size.
