Dr. W. G. Robinson returned from a trip to his ranch in Bandera county yesterday and registered at the Mahncke. He reports the country around Bandera and Kerr counties looking excellent, and stock, he says, is looking fine. He believes a change in the present national affairs would soon place Texas on her feet again.

Upon entering his room at the hotel yesterday Dr. Robinson says he was agreeably surprised in finding on the table a beautiful bouquet and box of fine cigars with a card bearing the legend: "best wishes, L. Mahncke." "Doc" says he is feeling well today, and when this box runs out he is going away again.
