Richland Center, Wis., June 22. During a severe thunderstorm at Gillingham, eight miles north, lightning struck the United Brethren church during services. Lewis Peckham was instantly killed, Harlan Hart and S. Foley were rendered unconscious and the entire congregation shocked. The building was wrecked.
